The Money Minders Program matches trained bonded volunteers with adults 55 or older who need help establishing a monthly budget and insuring all bills get paid in a timely and accurate manner. The goal of the program is to give clients help with their financial matters enabling them live independently.
As a trained Money Minder volunteer, you will help clients pay bills and establish a budget with seniors who feel overwhelmed paying bills on time.
Financial experience is a plus but not required.
If you have skills budgeting and balancing a check book, have a couple of hours a month and are able to commit for a year there are several volunteers needed in the Augusta area. There is a mandatory 2 hour training, and mileage reimbursement.
