Maine Association for the Education of Young Children

MaineAEYC (Maine Association for the Education of Young Children) is the state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We are a nonprofit membership organization committed to supporting early childhood professionals and championing the needs of young children and their families. Our members include teachers, directors, family child care providers, higher education faculty, students, and advocates who share a passion for advancing excellence, equity, and opportunity in early childhood education.

MaineAEYC works to advance high-quality early childhood education across Maine. We support early childhood educators, program leaders, and advocates through professional development, conferences, training opportunities, networking, and resources that strengthen the early childhood workforce. We also promote best practices, advocate for children and families, and foster a strong community dedicated to ensuring every child has access to safe, nurturing, and enriching early learning experiences.
