Museum Docent
First Amendment Museum – Augusta, Maine

The First Amendment Museum is looking for friendly, curious volunteers to join our team as docents! Docents welcome visitors, lead tours, and help spark meaningful conversations about the five freedoms of the First Amendment—religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.

No teaching or history experience required (though it is appreciated) —just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Training is provided!

Time Commitment: Flexible scheduling; about two shifts (2–3 hours each) per month
