Who We Are
RCAM is a private nonprofit 501(c)3 organization providing key services to vulnerable low-income families in 14 rural towns in Central/Western Maine. We focus on removing barriers to economic independence, addressing the immediate crisis need first. RCAM uses an integrated service approach to meet the needs of the whole family.
What We Do
RCAM works with people to meet their needs for safe, adequate shelter, clothing, food and basic well-being in a manner that maintains or improves their self-worth and dignity. Services include homeless prevention, hunger prevention, senior transportation, financial counseling, self-sufficiency, minor home repairs, youth services, and volunteer services.
