Who We Are
The Maine Recovery Access Project is a grassroots peer led network of Mainers working on community and public policy based solutions to substance use. We are also the sister organization of the Maine Recovery Action Project.
What We Do
The Access Center is a grassroots recovery community center located in the heart of downtown Augusta. It is a welcoming community hub where recovery support and harm reduction come together under one roof. Here, you can access recovery coaching, attend recovery support meetings, and connect with essential harm reduction services like naloxone distribution and syringe disposal. We also offer a vibrant volunteer incentive program, Project Doorstep, community clean ups, youth programming, and more. Come get involved.
