United Way of Kennebec Valley

United Way of Kennebec Valley serves the community by identifying human care needs, raising and allocating funds to meet those needs, and encouraging volunteers to participate in community service. Since 1955, United Way of Kennebec Valley has been combining forces with Kennebec Valley nonprofits, companies, government agencies and individual donors to address our area’s most pressing challenges. 

United Way of Kennebec Valley is a nonprofit organization serving 19 communities in Southern Kennebec County. United Way partners with 50 local programs to provide a better quality of life for people experiencing emergencies, hardships and personal challenges in our communities. More than 24,000 Kennebec Valley people were helped by United Way programs and initiatives in the last year—that's 1 in 3 people!
