Who We Are
Food Pantry Mission
We believe that each individual needs food, clothing, and other necessities to live with dignity.
We gather, store, and distribute goods to those who find themselves in time of special need and crisis. We supply food and other products that individuals may not be able to purchase with food stamps, and as a supplement to the food bought through food stamps. We offer this food in a pleasant “shopping” environment, where people may choose the food and the amount of food they need to feed their family, following basic guidelines.
Our ministry is based on compassionate giving to others as we respect the dignity of each person we serve.
What We Do
The Faith Food Pantry, Inc. services help to ensure that no person in the Gardiner area goes hungry. We work to assist and supplement basic needs to individuals and families who find themselves impacted by financial problems due to: unemployment, divorce, disability, health, domestic violence, homelessness, disaster, aging, and the rising cost of living.
With this in mind, we provide the following services:
- Food from the Food Pantry
- Clothing
- Information to other services in the area
- Regular operating hours once a week
- Personal nutrition information
- Emergency food and clothing supplies
- Fresh, frozen, canned, and boxed food to meet the needs of a family for one week.
