Be a mentor to youth ages 5-12 in the afterschool programs at the Alfond Youth & Community Center, Lawrence Primary, and Atwood Primary schools. Mentors have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a youth and to become a part of their support system.
Volunteers will meet with youth once a week for an hour. The schedule is flexible. Mentoring occurs during the time of 3-530pm, Monday - Friday, during the school year. Volunteers must submit a volunteer application, complete a background check, and complete the Boys & Girls Club training. The volunteer application can be found here: AYCC Volunteer application
Activities with mentees include board and card games, arts & crafts, youth sports, walking the track, or joining in the group activity. Get started today and make a difference tomorrow!
