The AMP Up (Alfond Mentor Program: Uplifting Potential) aims to enhance communication skills, social development, and other learning skills for After School Program youth ages 5-12.
Volunteers will meet with youth once a week for an hour. The schedule is flexible. Mentoring occurs during the time of 3-530pm, Monday - Friday, during the school year. Volunteers must submit a volunteer application, complete a background check, and complete the mandated reporter training online through the State of Maine. Activities with mentees include board and card games, arts & crafts, youth sports, walking the track, or joining in the group activity.
